Netizens criticize hiker who stole BMW car emblem during hike

A video surfaced online on Monday showing a man taking a car emblem from a BMW, leading to criticism online.

In the video that was recorded from the concerned BMW sedan on March 3, around 4 pm, a man with glasses was seen hiking with a woman and passing a BMW that was parked in the area.

However, he came back to the front of the sedan and pulled off the car emblem on the vehicle, inspecting it for a bit before leaving with his “prize”.

The whole process only took around three seconds.

The netizens who saw the video criticized him and said that his actions could be labeled as criminal damage, and they did not understand why he had to turn back and go through all the trouble to get the car emblem.

The video poster was urged to call the police, in hopes that the man would be arrested.
