The first teaser had revealed the Safari’s new front fascia with an end-to-end LED DRL setup, similar to what is seen on the recently launched Tata Nexon EV facelift. The trend of full-width LED DRL was first seen on Mercedes-Benz cars such as the EQS, and now seems to be making its way to more mainstream models too.

The latest teaser reveals the rear-end design of the new Safari, featuring a new connected LED taillight setup, which seems to have taken inspiration from the Audi Q8 luxury SUV. The SAFARI badging is placed lower down on the tailgate in the middle, while the rear bumper also features a faux skid plate.
No changes are expected to be made to the powertrain. Both the Tata SUVs are available with a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 168 hp of max power and 350 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to the front wheels only through a 6-speed manual transmission along with an optional 6-speed torque converter auto.
