The new model builds upon the established legacy of the CT5. However, it distinguishes itself from its predecessors with a more assertive design without missing the luxury Cadillac is known for.
The 2025 CT5 received a noticeable facelift. The front end now features a more prominent grille while retaining the iconic vertical daytime light and stacked LED lamps. What sets the 2025 CT5 apart from its predecessor is its wider and lower stance that exudes confidence and a touch of aggression. Adding to its already sporty look is the sports model enhancement that makes it look menacing. It features a black mesh grille, revamped front fascia, black molding accents, and an integrated rear spoiler.

Although General Motors is heavily invested in its electric vehicle venture, the company emphasized in a Fox Business interview that the era of internal combustion engines (ICE) is not over. GM continues to have a fondness for traditional gas-powered engines and plans to remain in the market for the foreseeable future. This commitment is evident in recent releases such as the 2024 C8 Corvette Z06, which still features a high-revving naturally aspirated V8 engine.
The refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 is also having an ICE under its hood. Beneath its elegant exterior is a CT5 standard 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, packing a punch with 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Another option is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine capable of delivering an impressive 335 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. Both engine options are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
While the 2025 CT5 retains the standard rear-wheel drive setup, an all-wheel drive option will also be a viable upgrade.

The 3.0-liter V6 gets 19 city, 27 highway, and 22 combined for the RWD and slightly less for the AWD version at 18 city, 26 highway, and 21 combined.
Regarding pricing, the 2025 Cadillac CT5 luxury sedan is projected to range from $40,000-$46,000 based on the 2024 model. Cadillac will announce official pricing as the release gets closer.
Cadillac Revealed The Standard CT5 But Not The V
Since its initial production, it has become familiar to encounter two sportier versions of the Cadillac CT5, namely the CT5-V and the potent CT5-V Blackwing. Nonetheless, Cadillac has not yet revealed these high-performance variants for the refreshed 2025 CT5. Based on the information available, the official announcements regarding the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing for the 2025 model are slated to be made at a later date.
Since GM hasn’t counted out the ICE just yet, we expect the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V and Blackwing to be just as ferocious as the current models.
