Secondly, there’s no unity across the board, and it seems that corner-office head honchos approve new styles left and right without any prior knowledge of what sits next, above, or below in the lineup. Oh, and not to mention the XM, which is times more infamous than even the iX, as both serve as flagships in the CUV department, one for the high-performance zone and the other for the EV lifestyle.
With that in mind, people have started to acclaim some of the more traditional BMWs as covens of tranquility, even though when the company launched the series, they were blasted out of Earth’s orbit for the design choices. One such eloquent example is the X6 mid-size luxury crossover SUV, the original SAC in the lineup – sports activity coupe. This coupe-SUV, now in its third generation, has already undergone the mid-cycle refresh (LCI – Life Cycle Impulse) and still came out looking less than conspicuous – at least for a BMW.
Naturally, the hype (both good and bad) surrounding the Bavarian automaker has echoed across space and time – even hitting the parallel universes of vehicular CGI. So, no wonder the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is striving to do something about the BMW controversies. One of the more prolific virtual artists taking care of the issue is also Giorgi Tedoradze, the Georgia-based industrial designer better known as tedoradze.giorgi on social media, who continues to promote his alternative (CGI) BMW style.
Over time, he worked to get rid of both issues, as mentioned above, by imagining an alternate design credo for BMW – and he worked both with the company’s SUVs and passenger cars. However, this is the first time he is stepping into the unknown by dreaming of a BMW model that’s not yet real in the natural world. His latest design project efforts focus on the hypothetical BMW iX6, the all-electric version of the famous coupe SUV.
Right now, it’s just a sketch, and there’s only one POV, but let us venture out on a limb and cast a vote. So, do we give this alternatively styled, unofficial BMW iX6 our CGI hall pass or not?
