Omaha police are investigating after a body was found inside a car registered to a missing man from Carter Lake on Tuesday morning.Investigators said that a black 2004 Toyota Avalon left the off-ramp from Interstate 680 at 72nd Street, struck a tree and then went down a ravine.First responders confirmed that the driver was dead.Law enforcement on the scene told KETV NewsWatch 7 that a city worker driving by noticed some strange tire marks in the grass and damage to a tree. Officers responded to the scene around 11:03 a.m. and found the vehicle. The car is registered to Tranquilin Sanabria, who the family referred to as Alex. He was reported missing by Carter Lake police on June 30. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday to confirm the driver’s identity.”There’s been some decomposition, there’s an autopsy scheduled, we may have to use dental records to identify the person, so at this point I don’t want to speculate as to who the person may be all I know is I have a deceased party in a vehicle,” Lt.
