What’s New for Encore GX, Envision, and Envista

The Envista is Buick’s new entry-level small SUV and features cues we saw on the brand’s Wildcat design exercise. It is effectively a replacement for the Encore, but it makes less power and comes with a smaller turbocharged engine. That could mean good news for fuel economy.

Cargo space behind the rear seats of this diminutive premium ute is on par with that of the 2023 Mazda CX-30. Up front, an 11.0-inch infotainment touchscreen sticks out of the dash in the same long horizontal pod that holds the driver’s 8.0-inch information screen. Standard driver assist features consist of automatic emergency braking, a lane keeping system, and automatic high-beams, but many features cost extra. Not that you’ll be paying all that much for the 2024 Envista, as Buick says it’ll start at a modest $23,495.
