The Mercedes-Benz GLA can be had with either a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine producing 165 PS and 250 Nm, or a 2.0-litre diesel motor that belts out 192 PS of max power and 400 Nm of peak torque. A front-wheel drive configuration is standard, while the diesel motor also gets an optional all-wheel drive system.
Audi offers the Q3 in India with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that has a max power output of 190 PS and a peak torque rating of 320 Nm. The SUV gets Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard.
Price
The new-gen BMW X1 is available in two variants only, priced at Rs 45.90 lakh and Rs 47.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. This makes it slightly more affordable than the GLA, but pricier than the Q3. However, the pricing for the three SUVs is more-or-less on par.
