‘Is he a celebrity or is he a politician?’: Albanese wins GQ Politician of the Year

Sky News contributor Katherine Deves has questioned whether Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is a “celebrity” or “politician” after he won GQ’s ‘Politician of the Year’ award.

“He has travelled overseas nine times this year since being voted in – and here he is on a date night with Jodie walking the red carpet,” Ms Deves told Sky News host Rowan Dean.

“And I would think Australians who are living out of their cars, who are fighting with the insurance companies because their houses have been flooded to see a Prime Minister be galivanting around Sydney with all the ‘hoy paloy’, I don’t think that would sit very well at all.”
