BMW R 1250 RT and K 1600 series launched at starting price of Rs 23.95 lakh

BMW Motorrad today launched four new motorcycles from its touring range in India including the BMW R 1250 RT, BMW K 1600 B, BMW K 1600 GTL, and BMW K 1600 Grand America. Deliveries of the motorcycles will start in August 2022 for customers who had pre-booked the motorcycles across the BMW Motorrad Dealer Network in India.
Ex-showroom prices of the four are as follows:
BMW R 1250 RT – Rs 23,95,000
BMW K 1600 Bagger – Rs 29,90,000
BMW K 1600 GTL – Rs 32,00,000
BMW K 1600 Grand America – Rs 33,00,000

The new BMW R 1250 RT has been tweaked for a fresh look and boasts enhanced touring qualities with its improved aerodynamics, including new fairing and full LED headlamps. It is powered by a 1,254 cc 2-cylinder boxer engine that produces 136hp at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 143 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The motorcycle claims a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h.
BMW K 1600 GTL, K 1600 B and K 1600 Grand America
The three use a 6-cylinder in-line engine that produces an output of 160 hp at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 180 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The engine comes with drag torque control (dynamic engine brake control) and Dynamic ESA. The bikes get a new 10.25-inch TFT colour display with integrated map navigation and connectivity and an audio system.
BMW Motorrad bikes come with a standard warranty for three years, unlimited kilometers. The warranty can be extended to the fourth and fifth years at an additional cost. The company also offers 24×7 365 days Road Side Assistance package.
