Two people are in critical condition following a high-impact crash involving two vehicles along Douglas Avenue Sunday. One of those cars crashed into a house.According to police, a Toyota Avalon driven by a 17-year-old was southbound on 54th Street. Witnesses say the 17-year-old was traveling at a high rate of speed. Police said evidence indicates that the vehicle ran the stop sign at Douglas Avenue before colliding broadside with an eastbound Hyundai Sonata.Two adult occupants of the Sonata were transported to the hospital. Both are in critical condition.There was damage to the home, but no one inside was hurt.The crash remains under investigation.
