Kris Jenner’s Thunderbird among celebrity cars at Barrett-Jackson 2018

The 1956 Ford Thunderbird owned by reality TV star Kris Jenner is up for bid at the Barrett-Jackson auto auction at WestWorld in Scottsdale.

Kris Jenner — reality TV personality and “momager” of the Kardashian/Jenner clan — will auction her 1956 Ford Thunderbird convertible at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale on Friday.

Jenner joins a list of celebrities selling at the Barrett-Jackson’s flagship auction, including actress Jodi Foster, former NBA player Alonzo Mourning and NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., who also attended in 2016.

The auction runs through Sunday at WestWorld of Scottsdale.

For those who haven’t kept up with the Kardashians, her children gifted this beautifully restored white Thunderbird — by noted T-bird restorer Amos Minter — for Christmas in 2016. Her mom got a matching one in bright, cherry red.

Jenner grew up hearing stories about her mother’s ’56 T-bird and the fun she had with it.

But alas, it appears Jenner’s ever-busy schedule has kept her from enjoying the car since she got it. So she’s made the “heartfelt choice,” according to Barrett-Jackson officials, to auction it off and have someone else enjoy the ride.

It’s not yet known if Jenner or any other celebrities will make an appearance, although it is common when they’re auctioning their cars. Barrett-Jackson spokeswoman Stacy Pearson said celebrity appearances aren’t paid for, so there’s no way to know in advance if someone will show up.

Other star cars to shine this week at Barrett-Jackson include:

Mary Tyler Moore’s 1931 Ford Model A Woody Wagon

This custom build was previously owned by Mary Tyler Moore and part of her collection. The buyer of this car also gets the late actress’s autograph on the dashboard.

The wagon comes with an all-handmade wood body that seats up to 10 people. Powered by a Buick V-6 engine and an automatic transmission, it has an independent front suspension, front disc brakes and a Chevrolet rear end with a leaf spring rear suspension with air shocks.

The two-tone exterior is black and green with a brown interior and leather bucket seats.

This car will be up for auction Wednesday.

Sonny and Cher’s 1966 Mustang convertibles

In the 1960s, Ford pulled two 1966 Mustang convertibles with nearly consecutive serial numbers from the San Jose assembly line and personalized them for singers Sonny & Cher.

Now, the two cars that reflect the onstage personas of the duo are up for auction as a pair.

Sonny’s Mustang features a Murano gold pearl with orange and gold fade-away treatment over the wheel wells and grille openings. Inside are brown suede panels and upholstery of bobcat fur and antique buff leather trimmed with rustic suede.

Cher’s Mustang features a hot pink pearl finished blended with candy red. The interior features white ermine fur and black antique Scottish leather upholstery trimmed in hot pink suede.

Both are factory-equipped with powertrains consisting of the 289ci small-block V8 engine, as well as a C4 automatic transmission.

The pair will be up for auction Friday.

Jodi Foster’s 1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible

This collector VW was driven by actress Jodi Foster in her early 20s and has since been garaged and maintained. The special edition Epilog Beetle was made in the last year the models were produced in Germany.

The car comes with Foster’s autograph on the glove compartment.

Powered by its original 1585cc 4-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission, about 50,000 miles are clocked on the odometer.

This car will be up for auction Wednesday.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR racecar

This Dale Earnhardt Jr. car was raced at Watkins Glen, which was its final race.

It was then sold without its engine and transmission, which have been replaced by Hendrick Motorsports with a NASCAR engine and transmission.

Powered by a 358ci V8 engine and 4-speed manual transmission, it’s important to note that this collector is not street legal. The car still bears light race damage and the number “8” and red livery as raced.

This car will be up for auction Saturday.

Alonzo Mourning’s 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300CE convertible

Former NBA player Alonzo Mourning bought this convertible after signing with the Miami Heat in 1993.

He’s owned it ever since, with 30,000 miles clocked.

Powered by a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine and automatic transmission, the luxury car has been well-maintained and is accompanied by the original books and keys.

This car went up for auction Tuesday.

Jesse James’ 1936 Ford 5-window custom coupe

This custom beauty was Jesse James’ personal ride. It was completely customized, and all of the metal work was done by Jesse and his West Coast Customs crew.

It features an 8-inch chopped top, smoothed body panels, a custom Nash truck grille, a custom hood and 1936 Bugatti taillights.
