Mercedes-Benz GLA, AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelifts launched in India: Price, features, specifications and more |

Mercedes-Benz India today announced the launch of new Mercedes-Benz GLA, AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelifts in the Indian market. The price for the new GLA starts from Rs 50.5 lakh and the AMG GLE 53 Coupe is priced at Rs 1.85 crores (both prices ex-showroom). The bookings for both cars are open, interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership.

The new GLA facelift gets cosmetic changes inside and out. The SUV gets re-designed front and rear bumpers with new LED headlights, a new grille, altered wheel arches, skid plates and re-designed LED taillamps at the rear. Inside, the overall cabin layout remains the same but it gets minor tweaks. The SUV also gets an upgraded MBUX infotainment system, internal ambient lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Engine options include a 1.3-litre turbo petrol which puts out 163 PS of power and 270 Nm of torque. Another engine is the 2.0-litre turbo diesel with 150 PS and 320 Nm of torque. The petrol engine will come with a 7-speed DCT, the diesel gets an 8-speed automatic.

The Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 coupe facelift was revealed globally almost a year ago. The SUV gets a revised front bumper, tweaked LED headlights, a new design for the alloy wheels and refreshed tail-lights. It also gets a diamond-patterned front insert, uniquely styled sills and it gets sweeping roofline.
The AMG GLE 53 coupe is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol paired with a 48V mild hybrid system and puts out 435PS and 520Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
