Last Friday, Toyota announced the launch of the Proace TPMR, a vehicle specially adapted for transporting people with reduced mobility (PRM).

In designing the Proace TPMR, Toyota teamed up with Gruau, a French company that is one of Europe’s leading vehicle conversion specialists.

The standard features of the Proace TPMR include a rear access ramp for wheelchairs, a removable footboard, handles for access to the passenger compartment, and tilting and pivoting folding seats.

To meet all needs, Toyota offers the Proace TPMR in two trim levels – Combi and Verso – two lengths – Medium and Long – and three engines: electric 136 hp, diesel 140 and 180 hp.
