GM President on luxury EVs: The demand is here

GM unveiled the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ EV, Cadillac’s first full-size, all-electric SUV. General Motors (GM) President Mark Reuss sits down with Yahoo Finance’s Pras Subramanian to discuss the latest vehicle, the state of the EV market, and the importance of the Cadillac luxury brand.

Reuss said, “We have a lot of demand for an Escalade or an SUV that is luxury that’s an EV. We know that. So the demand is here. We’re going to be first in … that’s important to us to be first.”

Regarding the rollout plan for the new vehicle, Reuss said, “Factory Zero is going to build this Escalade right in Detroit.”
